FALL RIVER: Wine lovers are encouraged to get their tickets quickly for the 9th annual Inn on the Lake Charity Wine Tasting in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
The fundraiser will take place June 26 at the Fall River-based Inn on the Lake, running from 7-9 p.m.
This year’s event has an added specialty. Those attending the wine tasting will be able to enjoy they’re beverages and then relax in one of the hotel’s comfortable rooms, where they can enjoy breakfast for two the next morning, all for $265.
If one can’t stay overnight, it will cost $45 to take part in the wine tasting.
In a release, organizers say people will be able to enjoy a selection of fine wines from around the world, a variety of cheese, canapés and hot hors d’Oeuvres.
“Wine representatives will be on hand to share their knowledge and answer any questions,” organizer Krista Snow said.
She added people will be able to retire to their room to unwind and relax in luxury following the two-hour event, before capping their stay off with a scrumptious breakfast in the morning.
